Hot Lunch
Atonement offers hot lunch at reasonable prices and participates in the federal free and reduced price lunch program. The meals are created by Quality Catering for Kids, Illinois. The meals are nutritious, and students are encouraged to participate in the program. Lunches may be ordered on a weekly or monthly basis by the Tuesday before the lunches are received. Credits for missed lunches because of school absence or class field trips are available if requested. Applications for free and reduced price lunches will be available on enrollment day or in the school office. You will be notified if you qualify. Students in grades 6 -8 with permissions from parents/guardians are encouraged to volunteer to help serve lunches. Volunteer help keeps the cost of the meals down. Mr. and Mrs. Brand are in charge of the hot lunch program. You may also contact Mr. Schafer with questions regarding the hot lunch program or contact the school office for more information.

Hot Lunch Menu--May 2010
Milk
Milk cards good for 20 milks will be available on enrollment day or in the office at any time at a cost of $7.00. Free and reduced price milk is also available for 4K and 5K children. Those who participate in the hot lunch program receive one milk with lunch but need a milk card to purchase additional milks. Milk can also be purchased on a daily basis for $.35 paid to the child's teacher. No reimbursement is given for lost milk cards so please make sure your child's card has a name on it and is kept in a safe place.
Breakfast
Students in 4K – 8th grade may come to the PAC between 7:45 a.m. – 8:20 a.m. and sign in to receive a prepackaged cereal, grain, fruit juice, and milk breakfast. The cost is $1.20 for regular price, $.30 for reduced price, and free for those who are preapproved through the Federal lunch program. Applications for free and reduced price lunch are available in the office.
