The Lutheran Women of Shepherd of the Lakes is a branch of the Wisconsin Synod’s Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society (LWMS), a national organization that supports the spread of the gospel through missions around the world. 

Our Women’s group gathers mission offerings for LWMS mission projects, supports the Befriend a Missionary program, and offers aid to Prison Ministries, the Central African Medical Mission, Friends of China, and Calvary Academy. 

In addition to supporting the Synod’s mission work, our Lutheran Women partake in various activities to support our congregational needs.  We organize a Thanksgiving Dinner and Easter Breakfast, serve at funerals, and provide refreshments and snacks following church services. 

One of the most inviting aspects of our Women’s group is the fellowship we share as we grow in faith and are strengthened by the bond we share as sisters in Christ Jesus.  

Come join us!  We meet every first Thursday evening of the month during the months of September through May.

Bible Study:  7:00 – 7:30 p.m. 
Business Meeting:  7:30 – 8:00 p.m.
